When AC compressors start up, they require a large power draw. If that electricity is from a generator, inverter or another low-amperage source it can cause a fault, overload the system or place extra strain on batteries. The new COLEMAN-MACH™ soft start kit can be easily installed on existing COLEMAN-MACH ACs and reduces compressor starting amps up to 75% to improve energy efficiency and protect against premature degradation of components.
